DELOY ROBERT MOORE, HAS BEEN PLAYING AND WRITING MUSIC FOR THE PAST 30 YEARS. HIS FIRST CD CAME OUT IN 2002 TITLED "IN HARMONY" PRODUCED BY TAD JONES AT "ROOT CELLAR" STUDIOS IN DOVER DELAWARE. THIS CD IS A VARIED MUSIC STYLE FROM FOLK, BLUEGRASS, BLUES AND JAZZ. DELOY PLAYS GUITAR, MANDOLIN, BANJO, AND DOBRO ON THIS CD. THIS COMPULATION ALSO HAS SOME OF HIS FRIENDS HELPING WITH VARIOUS INSTRUMENTS BASS, VIOLIN, FLUTE, UPRIGHT BASS, HARMONICA, KEYBOARDS, STEEL SLIDE GUITAR, AND ELECTRIC GUITAR AND HARMONY VOCALS. THIS CD IS A ONE OF A KIND IN THAT IT HAS SUCH A VARIED MUSICAL STYLE AND ALL THE SONGS TELL SUCH A GREAT STORY THAT JUST FLOW FROM ONE TO ANOTHER. DELOY HAS RECENTLY MOVED TO THE CHARLOTTESVILLE VA. AREA WHERE HE IS RETIRED AND HAPPLY MARRIED TO HIS LONG LOST LOVE JoAnn. NOW WORKING ON A FEW MORE PROJECTS AND SOON WILL RELEASE A SOLO CD FROM HIS HOME IN VIRGINA. ALSO ON HIS RESUME HE TEACHES GUITAR, MANDOLIN,Banjo, DOBRO AND BASS GUITAR. HE ALSO IS PERSUING HIS ART WORK.

The Knight Family consist of Carol Knight grandmother on guitar, and her grandkids Kristen 13, on mandolin, Kassidy 11 on banjo, Kellie 7 on fiddle. They play original gospel and bluegrass country folk and they play some really cool covers. They play all over Virginia . Carol ask if I would take the girls and be their music teacher and I said yes. What a wonderful blessing this has been for me to see these girls grow in their music skills. Then Carol said she would like to get them in the recording studio as soon as possible I've written all these songs and want for them to record them I feel they may lose interest in this as they grow older . I said wow I hope not. So my wife JoAnn found Lisa Roberson from Scottsville Va. She owns Pine Road Recording Studio. She was just a great lady and come to find out she was Emmy Lou Harris's sound tech for 6 years on the road and Ralph Stanleys is her Uncle. Im going yes this is Virginia. I asked Jim McGiffin and John Kidd if they could make a spot on the F.O.F. Coffee House and we got it done. The girls have a 8 song original Cd out and Carol Knight wrote all the songs. So come on out and hear The Knights play they are just a delight to see and hear. Carol and I will open up for them with some of her new tunes that I think you will also enjoy.
